It is very hard to raise my children in this terrible environment. I have been attacked for voicing my opinions on Facebook – yet I have sat back and watched so much Presidential bashing, it is heartbreaking.

Currently there is a facebook group titled: “DEAR LORD, THIS YEAR YOU TOOK MY FAVORITE ACTOR, PATRICK SWAYZIE. YOU TOOK MY FAVORITE ACTRESS, FARAH FAWCETT. YOU TOOK MY FAVORITE SINGER, MICHAEL JACKSON. I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW, MY FAVORITE PRESIDENT IS BARACK OBAMA. AMEN.”

I posted a status saying how disgusting I thought it was that people are wishing for the DEATH OF OUR PRESIDENT…. and the bashing started. Really? I was getting bashed because I didn’t think it was moral to wish for somebody to die?

Coming from the US, I beleive…know…and see the product of this article everyday. The US is in a very sad estate right now. I, too, agree with the causes this article points out for these effects. One day if I can escape capitalism I wil be able to be a Canadian :)
